Class 6T Creative Curriculum

Ancient Greece
During the Autumn term, Year 6 studied Ancient Greece. The end of unit outcome was to produce a Greek play. The children made their own props and costumes, as well as a backdrop to set the scene. Patricia Ramsden, Creative Partners, worked with children to produce masks that were worn during the performance.
The children performed the play brilliantly, learning their lines off by heart, in front of Key Stage 2 and their parents. Following the successful play, the children sold ‘Greek Goody Bags’ as part of Enterprise Week. A profit of £45. 50 (excluding expenses) was made.
