Iftaar Party

On Wednesday 3rd October, families of Spring Hill pupils joined staff to celebrate Iftaar together. Following the success of last year's party everyone was excited and looking forward to another wonderful evening.

Pupils from Faizarv-e-Madrina Mosque delighted us with some singing. Traditional songs were translated into English for everyone to enjoy. Prayers were led by one of the teachers from the Mosque. Many thanks to him and his colleagues from the Mosque for their help and advice. Prayers were follwed by a delicious buffet provided by parents, staff and friends of the school.

A big thank you to Mrs Begum, Mrs Renshaw, Miss Waterworth, Mrs Khan and all other staff and friends who organised and helped during this event.

During the evening we raised over £160 for the Muslim Hands charity.

Muslim Hands is an international organisation working in over forty countries worldwide to help those affected by natural disasters, conflict and poverty. They provide safe water, medical care, education and emergancy relief for the needy, no matter what their race, colour or faith. to find out more click here

Everyone who came agreed it was a wonderful evening and we hope, with your continued support, to hold many more similar events!
