DON’T FORGET to come everyday and on time

We say goodbye to two special teachers at the end of this term. Mrs Maxwell and Miss Tabsim are leaving us to teach at other schools. We would like to say thank you to them for all they they have brought to Spring Hill and for everything they have done for the children. They will be VERY sadly missed by us all. BYE BYE Miss Tabsim and Mrs Maxwell.

In January we will welcome two new teachers Mrs Khan in Y6 and the new Foundation Stage teacher whose name will be revealed next week.

Wednesday 14th December 1:45 Thank you all for supporting our events in school this year. Many parents have enjoyed coming into school to work alongside their children, and we hope to do more of this next term. Look out for parents’ workshops in school. We’ve had LOTS of exciting visits and visitors during this term. I hope the children have told you all about them. All of these have been helping to improve the work that the children are doing in class.

YOUR ENTERPRISING CHILDREN Your children have been busy throughout this week making lots of lovely things. They have been given just £5 for the class and have to try to make as much profit as possible. They have had to be creative to REUSE AND RECYCLE to try to make the best of the £5. These items will be on sale in school for 50 p - £1.00 after our songs around the tree concert.

Spring Hill children are singing in the Market Hall on Monday between 9 and 10 o’clock. They are sounding fabulous in practice. Do go along to listen to them if you can.

SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHS will be on Thursday MARCH 8h 2012. We will be using the same photographer as before.

We raised £462.50 for Children in Need during November. Over £100 more than last year. Thank you for your support to this worthwhile charity, and others we have raised money for during the year.

ANNUAL SCHOOL ATTENDANCE LAST YEAR WAS 93.5% The best ever but ….we still need to continue to improve our school attendance to reach the 96% annual attendance expected for all schools. You can help us by taking family holidays when school is closed, and keeping your child at home ONLY if he/she is ill. Please make sure your child is at school each morning for the start of the day doors open at 8:45am. Punctuality is SO important.
