This term we are learning about animals. We have been name different animals, discussing where they live, comparing how different animals move, what they look like and what their off-spring look like.

We went on a trip to Thornton Hall Farm. At the farm, we pretended to be farmers for the day by feeding different animals including lambs, calves and kids. We went egg collecting, collecting eggs from the chicken coups. We also had lots of fun on the slide and the toy tractors. The teachers and the farmers made sure we washed our hands after touching all the different animals.

We have been for a walk in the school grounds and explored what mini-beasts might be found there. We found lots of worms, earwigs and millipedes.

We have been playing cricket with a cricket coach. We have been learning how to bat and bowl and played mini games.
